This is where Our Story begins. . .

Hey Ya’ll, I am B R O O K E!

Life began for me in Olivenhain, CA. Here is where I grew up surrounded by family farms, and living in the ranch home my parents had built for our family. From an early age, I joined our community 4H club, and this became my life.  I raised and showed goats, chickens, and rabbits, and spent most of my time riding horses. As I got older, my passion for western riding truly stole my heart.  I started this journey with barrel racing and then I found my passion for reigning. I loved the barn, I loved to ride, I loved to show, it formed my world. Years down the road, my mom approached me about starting a business with her.  With the dream of one day becoming a momma, as well as, one day having a business, I knew this was God’s plan for me. I enjoy fashion, I love ranch living, I enjoy decorating, and the thought of one day making a house a family home.  Truly Farmgirl Artisan is a dream come true!!

Meet Terri!

While attending college in Central California, I fell in love with the rodeo, agriculture and the beauty of farm living.  Upon graduation, I settled back into Southern California, where I got married, had our 2 sons and our 2 daughters, as well as, started, ran and sold a successful business in the fitness industry. Running a business was the joy of my heart, but being a wife, and raising our children was truly the greatest blessing of my life.

How fast time goes!! Upon entering the phase of empty nester, I found myself at a trade show in Las Vegas. While there, excited about the thought of starting another business, I inquired of the Lord His plans for me. In that moment, the name Farmgirl Artisan popped into my head.  “That’s it,” I thought!! Brooke is our farmgirl, Brianna our artisan.  What a great way to incorporate our daughters into a business.  Within a minute of receiving this name, Brooke face timed me. When I answered the phone, she was modeling a new cowboy hat she had just received from her boyfriend.  It was in that moment, I rejoiced, “Brooke, you have no idea what you have just confirmed!” The ideas for Farmgirl Artisan started to grow!! Currently, Brooke and I share the responsibilities in the operation of Farmgirl Artisan.  Brianna has a fulltime job with a digital marketing firm, but encourages our success! Brooke and I are excited to serve you in the Market Place and hope you enjoy!
